Gakuen Heaven ~ Boy’s Love Scramble

Standard

Gakuen Heaven is a BL game first released by Spray. The original PC game does not have voice but the PS2 version comes fully voiced. Having played both the PC and the PS2 version, I did not find too much difference between the two (except there were a few new stills in the PS2 version, particularly the ones where they were in bath). The story is rather simple. You play as Itou Keita (CV: Fukuyama Jun), who suddenly received an acceptance letter from the renowned Bell Liberty Academy (a.k.a BL Academy ^^;;). Attracted by the prestige of the academy, you decided to attend the school. However, on the day of your transfer, the bridge joining the school and the academy, which is located on a remote man-made island, suddenly raised and your bus fell down. Luckily, you weren’t injured but the accident aroused the attention of both the student council’s president (whom people address as the king) Niwa Tetsuya (CV: Konishi Katsuyuki) as well as the head of the accounting department (whom people address as queen Saiyonji Kaoru (CV: Kamiya Hiroshi). You were then taken by the two to class and everyone eyed you with astonishment as those two were rarely seen together. You were a bit surprised by all that happened but your classmate Endou Kazuki (CV: Sakurai Takahiro) was very nice and explained everything to you. In addition, he even showed you around the school grounds where you met the rest of the important students in the game: Naruse Yukihiko (CV: Miki Shinichirou), captain of the tennis club, Shinomiya Kouji (CV: Okiayu Ryuutarou), captain of the archery club, Iwai Takuto, (CV: Nojima Hirofumi), captain of the art club and Taki Shunsuke (CV: Suzumura Kenichi), a genius cyclist. At the student council, you also met the vice president Nakajima Hideaki (CV: Morikawa Toshiyuki).That evening during dinner, you also met the "servant" of Saiyonji, Shichijou Omi (CV: Tsuboi Tomohiro) who tried to invite you for tea with Saiyonji and himself. Then, ther is also the child-looking teacher Umino sensei (CV: Kawakami Tomoko).

While you were happily adjusting into the wonderful atmosphere of Bell Liberty Academy, you got a call from the School governing council, saying that your admission was a mistake and that you must leave the academy in one month! Shocked and upset by this information, you seeked advice from other students and was persuaded by Kazuki to write a letter to the principal of the school for help. The next day, there was an announcement that there would be a MVP battle in the school and whoever wins the battle could ask the principal for ONE thing. Of course, you would participate in the battle with the one you liked best and then when you won the battle, you could also arrive at the ending with the character. Except for Saiyonji, there were basically two endings for each character (one true love end and one friendship end). In the case of Kaoru, there is one seme end, one uke end, and one slave friendship end.  When you unlock all the endings (actually just the endings of the five major characters: Endo, Niwa, Saiyonji, Nakajima, and Shichijou), you will see some extra footage, which is really the explanation of everything in the game.

  2. Hi Seikred-san, I’m not sure of the difference between type A and B as well but I think type B is the 18+ version. Anyway, get the 18+ version and you won’t be disappointed ^_^;;

  3. Hi Lorey,
    As to where you can get the game, do you mean PS2 or PC version? Well PS2 version I guess you can buy it from Yesasia if you’re outside Japan because most Japanese online stores won’t ship overseas. As for the PC game, try Aarinfantasy. Google EVERYTHING😀
